Silver lace Gorokuwan

¥132,000

A handmade bowl using locally grown zelkova wood, turned on a lathe by a third generation craftsman. The shape of this bowl is a traditional one from a village in the Noto Peninsula area and was originally used outside, next to the rice paddies hence the high, solid wood, foot. This one of a kind bowl is large and can be used for a large variety of foods including caviar, fruit, or even flowers! Decorated with handmade lace from Paris and sculpted then finished in silver maki-e.
